"We have emerged from the crisis... in the automotive industry in our city. At one time, we put a lot of effort here to develop our car industry here, and it worked well. Our Western partners have left, and ours have come in their place. To date, Avtovaz already produces cars, electric ones will be produced. We quickly replaced… These are 12.5 thousand qualified jobs," Beglov said during a meeting with the head of state.

The governor noted that all these jobs have been saved.

"We have launched production, now we continue this topic with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. And we have come out of this crisis, we are gaining momentum," Beglov added.
