Tele2 subscribers actively use Moscow government mobile services
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has announced that the number of its subscribers using the Moscow government’s services exceeded 38 thou people. The city’s residents may keep informed on housing and utilities charges, traffic fines and vehicle impound with the help of mobile applications, SMS and simple USSD requests.
The Moscow government’s mobile services became available to Tele2 subscribers after the launch of operations in the capital in October last year. Over this time more than 38 thou subscribers have registered in a single mobile platform of the Moscow government.
Official city applications are most popular among Tele2 subscribers who download them in AppStore and Google Play. The operator’s clients most often install “State services”, “Our city” and “Transport of Moscow”.
Around 5 thou of Tele2 subscribers in Moscow Region have signed up for toll-free SMS. Most demanded were notifications of traffic fines, the second place is taken by SMS on vehicle impound. Notifications of housing and utilities charges are ranked third. More Moscow subscribers of Tele2 are signing up for SMS notifications on a need to transfer water meter readings and get a unified payment document onto their mobile account.
In order to register in a single mobile platform of the Moscow government, it is just needed to send a free-toll SMS saying “servis reg” onto 7377, write an USSD request *377*1*1#dial or download any of mobile applications. Each mobile service implies a separate SMS and a corresponding USSD request.
