OREANDA-NEWS Roskomnadzor recorded a multiple increase in attempts to hack Russian IT systems from the West after February 24. This was reported by the publication D-Russia with reference to the press service of the department.

“Roskomnadzor, using its technical systems, repels computer attacks from the West, the intensity of which, both DDoS and attempts to hack IT systems, has also increased many times over. Here, as in other areas of activity, Roskomnadzor works in cooperation with the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, ”the regulator quotes the publication.

It is also reported that since the end of February, Roskomnadzor has identified and removed over 117,000 fakes about the essence of the special operation in Ukraine, as well as the actions and losses of the Russian Armed Forces, and 38,000 calls for protests. In addition, the regulator blocked 1177 resources with Ukrainian nationalist propaganda, the total audience of which exceeds 202 million users.

Hundreds of thousands of Russian companies fell under the presidential decree "On additional measures to ensure the information security of the Russian Federation", adopted on May 1. This was stated in an interview with Gazeta.Ru by the Director of the Cybersecurity Department of the Ministry of Digital Development Vladimir Bengin.

“There are hundreds of thousands of companies.
