OREANDA-NEWS  Sber has reported more than 600 DDoS attacks on its systems since the beginning of its operation, and no major incidents have been recorded so far in 2024. Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy chairman of the Board of the bank, told reporters about this during a working visit to Crimea.

"Since the beginning of the SVO, more than 600 attacks have been carried out on Sberbank, while none of them were effective. Last year, Sberbank successfully repelled 124 DDoS attacks. And as for the new year, 2024, it has also started actively in terms of repelling DDoS attacks, but at the same time we have not recorded any serious attacks yet. All of them are still reflected in the normal mode," he said.

In November 2023, Sberbank reported that its systems had been hit by the most powerful DDoS attack, reaching more than 1 million requests per second.
