OREANDA-NEWS. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation supports the idea of a direct injunction for pedophiles to visit children's institutions and use social networks, as well as technical supervision of them, Alexander Avdeiko, head of the legal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, said at a meeting of the State Duma working group on drafting laws aimed at strengthening measures protecting children from sexual abuse.

"Of course, of course. Of course, it is necessary to think over and how to write it into the legislation," Avdeyko answered the question of Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya about whether the department supports the idea of "to establish a direct judicial ban on visiting children's institutions, on using social networks and interaction".

In addition, when asked about the use of technical means of control (including surveillance by cameras) of pedophiles, Avdeyko said that the department is positive about this and believes that "it needs to be developed."

"It is also necessary to make changes to the law on personal data in terms of the fact that now it is not quite possible to transfer the biometric data of persons under administrative supervision without their consent to information systems in the sense of recognition. Changes must be made," Avdeyko emphasized.
