2016 NECA Showstopper Showcase and Awards Program Features Host of Eaton Solutions Empowering Profitable Growth for Electrical Contractors
The NECA Showstopper Showcase and Awards is designed to introduce new products and services designed to help electrical contractors do their work. Electrical Contractor magazine has presented the annual NECA Showstopper winners for over 20 years. The area opens each day one hour before the NECA Show exhibit hall in conference booth #1101.
“Eaton is committed to providing the innovative solutions today’s electrical contractors need to simply complex projects while making business profitable,” said Craig Gob, vice president, U.S. sales at Eaton. “By visiting the 2016 NECA Showstopper Showcase, attendees can discover our latest innovations specifically designed to solve the industry’s most critical power management challenges.”
NECA convention attendees can also visit Eaton’s booth #1357 to meet with the company’s experts and discover how its solutions and customized engineering services can accelerate project timelines while supporting electrical reliability, energy efficiency and safety.
The Eaton solutions featured in the NECA Showstopper Showcase and Awards program include:
- Medium-voltage SC9000 general purpose drives, which are designed to help support energy efficiency, reduce ownership costs and enhance power system reliability
- Pow-R-Line® PXBCM Branch Circuit Monitor panelboards, an integrated panelboard design that monitors up to 84 branch circuits to provide exceptional performance and easy installation.
- Enclosed circuit breakers equipped with Eaton’s Arcflash Reduction Maintenance System, designed to improve safety by providing a simple and reliable method to reduce fault clearing time and downstream incident energy levels.
- Double-door line isolation switches, providing an internal barrier between upper and lower compartments to advance safety through isolation of line-side power. This revolutionary design enables personnel to minimize exposure, maximize uptime and enhance safety while performing maintenance or testing within the load side fuse compartment.
- Comprehensive portfolio of UL 1008 listed automatic transfer switch (ATS) solutions with contractor-based designs specifically engineered for applications up to 3000 Amps. The contractor-based ATS line is not only competitive and simple to operate, but also available in a broad selection of configurations and features to meet a wide array of application types.
- Digitrip RMS 210+ electronic trip units integrated into F-frame molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs). The design provides detailed time current curves to ensure coordination and reliable protection for electrical systems in commercial, industrial and machinery manufacturing environments.
- New locking devices designed specifically for the needs of data center power consumption and preservation. NEMA L25 is configured for 30A 240V 2P/3W single phase and NEMA L26 is for 3 phase 30A 240/415V 4P/5W power. The configurations are designed to reduce energy consumption and costs in data center environments.
- Outlet Branch Circuit (OBC) AF/GF dual-purpose receptacles, providing both Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection in one convenient device in those areas of the home where AF/GF protection is required.
- Power lock devices, designed for safety, energizing within a chamber to practically eliminate the possibility of exterior arcing. They are ideal for high-abuse industrial and specialized hospital applications. Industrial manufacturers will also embrace the safety and effectiveness of the redesigned family of Eaton’s power lock devices including plugs, connectors, and receptacles.
- The Distributed Low Voltage Power (DLVP) system that blends the benefits of both AC and DC power distribution, reducing installation labor by up to 40 percent and total installed cost of an LED lighting and controls project by up to 20 percent, while providing a completely flexible and electrically efficient solution.
- Selective Coordination Designer Tools, a powerful suite that allows users to easily select from today’s broad variety of overcurrent solutions that better address important safety, equipment protection, reliability and efficiency considerations.
