The automatic transfer switch (ATS) is a critical part of healthcare power systems, and today's modern solutions aim to reduce the risk of downtime while enabling simplified maintenance procedures. On Monday, July 11 at 3:15 p.m., Eaton Senior Application Engineer Chris Finen and ATS Sales Manager Ryan Coster will deliver a presentation titled, “Optimizing Safety and Reliability: Maintenance of the Modern Automatic Transfer Switch.” The presentation will outline best practices for developing a maintenance plan and help attendees develop procedures to improve facility uptime and extend the life of ATS equipment.

On Wednesday, July 13 at 11:20 a.m., Eaton National Application Engineer Thomas Domitrovich and Thompson Consultants Principal Jason D’Antona will review the importance of short-circuit calculations in the selection of overcurrent protective devices to selectively coordinate. The presentation, “Understand Selective Coordination Requirements to Maintain Power Continuity and Enhance Life Safety,” will also look at other aspects of reliability and safety including incident energy and arc flash risk.
