OREANDA-NEWS. The Report of year 2015 is the eighth integrated report issued by the Company on the voluntary basis and addressed to the vast audience of concerned parties. 

High-priority subjects of the Report are “Integration of the Unified ASE-NIAEP-AEP companies” and “NPP environmental and radiation safety”.

Year 2015 saw the Rosatom State Corporation Engineering division complete its buildup that started 3 years ago when NIAEP JSC was delegated the authorities of a sole executive body of Atomstroyexport construction company.  Year 2014 saw Atomstroyexport JSC, major design Institute become part of the Unified NIAEP-ASE company.  December 2015 saw St-Petersburg ATOMPROEKT JSC, reputed design organization be incorporated within the scope of NIAEP JSC management.  Thus, ASE Group of companies guided by NIAEP JSC has merged engineering competences of the nuclear industry.

The Report was elaborated on the basis of the extended criteria of GlobalReportingInitiative Manual, rev. G4.  Besides, as in the previous year the report is elaborated in line with the International Integrated Reporting standard, AA1000 series standards, GRI CRESS, industry-specific application for building companies.  While the report was elaborated, the Company was involved in active interfaces with representatives of various concerned parties including the company’s top management joint elaborating with stakeholders the list of priority issues to be handled in the report  which allowed improvement and feasibility of the report.

The report of ASE Group of companies includes financial, economic and operational results of activities in year 2015, as well as information about the sustainable growth and data on environmental impacts,  social activities in the operations areas.  The main focus of the report was NPP safety, environmental safety and security of construction facilities, company’s business portfolio over the long-term perspective.

In 2015, the profit of ASE Group of companies amounted to 166,6 bln. rubles, while the portfolio of overseas orders amounted to 70,6 bln. dollars.  The company is the global leader in terms of simultaneously constructed power units and 32-unit portfolio.

The developments of the year include such major events as: Rostov NPP power unit 3 commissioning permit is issued, nuclear fuel loading into the reactor is completed at Kudankulam NPP Unit 1 (India),  the General contract for Rooppur NPP (Bangladesh) construction is signed, civil erection and commissioning works are completed at Novovoronezh NPP-2 Unit 1.
