Currently, the facility still has the reconstruction of 110 kV outdoor switchgear and taps of 110 kV overhead lines. The work is being performed in the conditions of the operating equipment, so all fed from the substation consumers receive electricity continuously and in full compliance with all quality parameters.

The power company plans in September to complete commissioning activities and put under operating voltage of a larger part of equipment of "Rudnaya", and fully complete the modernization of the power facility - at the end of this year. Commissioning of the upgraded substation will allow to minimize technological disruptions in the Kursk power system, improve the reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers of the city of miners.
