OREANDA-NEWS  Greek DEPA Commercial has won the right to supply 100 million cubic meters of gas to the Moldovan state enterprise Energocom. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the company's press service.

The tender for the purchase was held on September 5, but Energocom does not indicate the value of the contract. The statement says that the fuel will be sent for storage and then used in winter. At the beginning of the month, the company announced that it would start purchasing gas for consumption in the first quarter of 2024.

It is reported that the contract with the Greek side will be paid at the expense of funds received under a credit line from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
