OREANDA-NEWS   Roskoshestvo completed a joint pilot project with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Rosstandart quality control of gasoline, which was held at the gas station of the Stavropol territory. The project showed that seven of the 60 tested gas stations in the region sold counterfeit, according to Roskoshestvo.

"Studies of the quality of motor fuel confirmed that only in seven cases out of 60 violations of mandatory requirements were revealed. Most samples with violations were purchased at small gas stations of private entrepreneurs. The study also showed that the price of fuel is lower than at network filling stations, inferior to the quality of gasoline of large gas stations. Information about violations was transferred to Rosstandart, which has already begun appropriate measures for the adoption of administrative measures against violators, up to the imposition of "negotiable" fines", - said the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, his words are in a press release of Roskoshestvo.

Roskoshestvo'd been researching gasoline 26 network ("Gazprom", "Rosneft", "LUKOIL", "Southern oil company", "Studiomaple", "STC" or "the Company "Astra", "Stavneft'") and 34 private gas stations in Stavropol region. According to Rosstandart, the falsification could get to gas stations from the oil depots of the North Caucasus Federal district.

Experts at the gas station found a mismatch of the octane number to the declared class (one private gas station), the excess concentration of oxygenates (five private gas stations), oxygen (three private gas stations), the excess of the permissible sulfur content (six private and one network gas station). "The sellers of 28 gas stations could not present a copy of the fuel passport, that is, a document confirming the quality of gasoline. This is a violation of technical regulations. Most often these sin small gas stations of individual entrepreneurs", - stated in the message.

In Roskoshestve at the same time stressed that, according to Rosstandart, in 2018, the share of violations of the physical and chemical characteristics of the fuel decreased to 9%. Thus, among the network filling stations it was about 3.5%, and among the "independent" non - network organizations-22%.

"The improvement was the result of the introduction of new oversight mechanisms on the market and the work of Rosstandart in conjunction with the unions and bona fide market participants that have established mechanisms for internal quality control implemented by the fuel", - noted in Roccacasale.

In the near future, similar programs for the study of gasoline will be held in other regions of Russia.
