OREANDA-NEWS Repair crews have launched two more boilers at the Shagonarskaya CHPP, where an explosion and fire occurred on Wednesday.

"Three are already in effect. The other five are preparing for launch," wrote the head of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg in his telegram channel.

Earlier it was reported that it was possible to start one of the boilers of the CHP.

The fire at the Shagonarskaya CHPP in Tuva occurred on Wednesday morning. As a result, 23 people were injured.

Due to the emergency, the heat supply was disrupted in 62 multi-apartment and 216 private houses, in which about 4 thousand people live. In total, there are 12 thousand 204 residents in Shagonar.

The Investigative Department of the TFR in the republic opened a criminal case on negligence, which negligently caused serious harm to health, as well as on violation of industrial safety requirements of hazardous production facilities. The prosecutor's office of the region initiated an inspection, and Rostechnadzor launched an investigation into the causes of the technological explosion.

A regional emergency regime has been introduced in Tuva.
