OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2016. Dreamforce is the world’s largest gathering of customer trailblazers, bringing together customers who are challenging the norm in sales, marketing, service and IT.  It’s four days of education, innovation, having fun, networking, and giving back. And the best part? It’s right around the corner! Thousands of eager attendees have already registered to attend Dreamforce, October 4 - 7, in the heart of San Francisco.

From first-timers to experienced veterans, we want everyone to be prepped, ready, and excited about the learnings, innovations, and enhancements at Dreamforce. The season premiere of The Road to Dreamforce ’16 gives you the skinny on five important things you need to know to have an amazing Dreamforce

1. Planning Dreamforce is a year-round adventure.

When you show up at Dreamforce on October 4, it might seem like a whole new world, magically assembled. In reality, the process of creating our annual event takes place 365 days a year. A very talented (and very patient) group of people manages millions of moving pieces, but the process also involves the entire Salesforce community.

2. Get ready for Trailhead, Trailhead, and more Trailhead.

You can look forward to   loads of adventure at Dreamforce! Trailhead will be back and bigger and better than ever. If you’re one of the lucky few with a coveted Trailblazer hoodie, wear it with pride because they’ll be hot items at Dreamforce this year. Trailhead is the fun way to learn Salesforce and we’ll have plenty of opportunities for Trailblazers to enhance their experience. Learn more about Trailhead in the clip below:

3. We have a new schedule.

We’re changing up the schedule for this year’s event. Tuesday, October 4 will be Innovation Day, with sessions from groundbreaking speakers like the space-exploring Kelly Brothers and inspirational powerhouse Tony Robbins. The following day will be focused on philanthropy, a Salesforce core value, and will include a keynote from Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff (and special guests!) followed by Melinda Gates. Wednesday night ends with a showstopping performance by the legendary U2 at The Cow Palace, AKA The Cloud Palace. Equality, another Salesforce core value, takes center stage on Thursday, plus a jam-packed day of line of business, audience, and  industry keynotes awaits attendees. And the final day of Dreamforce is dedicated to compassion. We’ll hear from visionary leaders and thinkers on how being more compassionate actually helps us innovate.

4. U2 is going to rock Dreamforce!

We’re ecstatic to have U2 with us on Wednesday evening! Dreamfest has moved from Pier 70 to Cloud (Cow) Palace. U2 needs no introduction; the legendary band has been touring the world for decades, and they’ve won  22 Grammys — more than any other band.  We can’t wait to give them a very Dreamforce welcome!

5. Get started NOW in the Success Community.

Last year, we moved the Dreamforce app over to the Success Community to create one cohesive community experience for all of our users. The Success Community is a single location where you can access help, give feedback, ask questions, and collaborate with Salesforce experts and other users. Conference attendees will have a special home on Success, with a dedicated page to get access to all the things you need, including Dreamforce Chatter groups, registration information, and eventually, Agenda Builder and the onsite mobile app. Get Top 5 tips for making the most of the Success Community below:

Get started now creating virtual relationships so that you can bring them to life at Dreamforce. This community allows us all to make Dreamforce a part of our lives year round. Don’t miss the chance to start your Dreamforce relationships beforehand, and/or continue those relationships after the conference.
