OREANDA-NEWS  Agricultural supplies from Russia to China are increasing against the backdrop of the overall development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, and more than 90% of transactions between the countries are now conducted in local currencies, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Russian-Chinese trade and economic relations are actively developing, despite persistent attempts by the Western countries to obstruct them. There has been a near-complete de-dollarization of our bilateral economic ties, and today, more than 90% of our transactions are conducted in local currency... Supplies of Russian agricultural products to the Chinese market are also growing," he said at a meeting of the Council of Russian Regions under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.He also emphasized that the cooperation between China and Russia in the energy sector is "progressing", with joint projects being implemented in various industries and investments.
