OREANDA-NEWS  Anton Tereshin has been appointed CEO of Pirelli Tair Russia LLC, according to the materials of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

Previously, Tereshin held the position of Pirelli's CFO for Russia and the CIS.

Pirelli Tair Russia has been managed by foreigners since November 2011: then Andrea Pirondini took over as CEO, in 2012 he was replaced by Costa Ardissone Carlo. In 2013, the post was taken by the Duke of Aosta and Savoy, Aimone di Savoia Aosta.

In December, in a New Year's address to members of the Italian Monarchical Union (Unione Monarchica Italiana), the duke announced that he was returning with his family to Italy after almost 30 years of living in Russia.

In March 2022, Pirelli suspended investments in tire plants in Voronezh and Kirov, with the exception of investments necessary to ensure safety during operational activities. In 2022, Russia accounted for 4% of the group's sales and 11% of total capacity.

According to the Pirelli website, the concern has 18 production sites in 12 countries, sells products in 160 countries. In Russia, the company's factories are located in Voronezh and Kirov, their production capacity is 2 million and about 6 million tires per year, respectively.
