Begishevo Airport recorded a positive trend in passenger traffic
OREANDA-NEWS. During the first two weeks of the year, OAO Begishevo Airport, KAMAZ's subsidiary (part of Rostec State Corporation) recorded a positive trend in passenger traffic.
From December 31, 2016 to January 15, 2017, Begishevo international airport served 21,955 passengers. Compared with the first weeks of 2016, passenger traffic has increased this year: domestic flights grew by 68%, international flights raised by 15%. 11,682 passengers departed from Begishevo and 10,273 passengers arrived at the airport on these days.
The highest number of passengers departed from the airport was recorded on January 11, 2017. On this day, there were 11 flights during which 1099 people were transported. The peak day for arrivals fell on 4 January 2017 when 954 passengers landed at the airport. In all, 77 flights were performed to Moscow from 31.12.2016 to 15.01.2017.
