OREANDA-NEWS  29 November in Astana was held a solemn presentation of the certificate of conformity to requirements of Technical regulations of the Customs Union “Safety of railway rolling stock” passenger cars with wide body production LLP “Tulpar-Talgo”.

“Comfortable passenger cars are produced in the framework of a long-term program for updating rolling stock parks” – said Vice-President of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Erkin Zhusanbaev.

New passenger cars developed by specialists of the design bureau of the “Tulpar-Talgo” plant and with Spanish colleagues based on experience production and the use of passenger cars in Kazakhstan.

For passenger of high-speed trains had been established comfortable conditions: significantly increased body width of the passenger cars, which helped expand the passages, increases the size of the bathrooms and overall space.

In the composition there are two new passenger car types – "Tourist" with chairs and luggage and "Grand class" which provided with electric lifts, a compartment with individual shower and toilet for passengers with disabilities. The cars produced by the plant “Tulpar-Talgo”. Passed the full test cycle in the test centers of Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy, the UK and France.

For example, in Leipzig the cars were exposed to various loads, which may take place in the course of their operation.

In Madrid, on a special stand tests were conducted the fatigue strength of the bogie, allowing to estimate properties of the bearing elements for the entire life cycle of cars.

In Vienna, in a special cell were conducted climatic tests, which create various conditions: humidity, high and low temperatures, wind speed etc.

On testing grounds of Akmola, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Karaganda regions were held a complex of suspension and dynamic tests at speeds up to 200 km/h on the most difficult sections of the road with radius of curvature from 300 to 2000 meters.

New comfortable passenger cars as part of high-speed trains will run between Astana and Almaty in December of this year and early next year on the route Almaty-Shymkent.

By 2021 will be launched additionally 7 new passenger cars of “Tulpar-Talgo” on the routes Almaty-Pavlodar, Aktobe-Mangyshlak- Astana-Leninogorsk, Aktobe-Atyrau, Almaty-Kostanay, Astana-Saryagash and Almaty-Mangyshlak.
