President of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" A. Mamin gave the speech. He informed about the achievements of Kazakhstan in the implementation of large-scale project on the revival of the Great Silk Road. In accordance with the idea of the Head of State strategy is under implementation on the development of rail and multimodal transport between the major markets of the Eurasian continent through the territory of Kazakhstan.

"In 2015, the volume of container traffic in the direction of China-Europe-China has increased by 7 times in relation to 2013 and up to 40 times - in 2011, exceeding the corresponding volume of containers transported via the Trans-Siberian route in the same direction", - said A .Mamin.

President of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" reported that "national company by hundred times increased the volume of container traffic from China to Europe".

"The company intends to continue to increase the volume under the strategy, which includes the introduction of an integrated transport system, improving the quality of services, working with the markets and infrastructure development," said the head of KTZ.

Currently, the Company's specialists work directly with 11 Chinese provinces which have enormous economic potential.

According to A. Mamin, "the share of transit traffic has reached 30% of the Company's revenues, that has allowed to soften consequences of decline in transportations of conventional freights, devaluations of national currency and limited opportunities of growth of tariffs".

In view of the planned growth in new segments of the market share of revenues from transit traffic in 2020 will be increased to 50%.

According to A. Mamin, to develop transcontinental land transport it is necessary to ensure the integrity of the transport services in international transport corridors passing through the territory of several countries.

For this purpose through joint efforts it is necessary to handle issues of ensuring the coordinated uniform levels of through tariff rates, technical and technological parameters and conditions of transportations. The head of JSC “NC” KTZ” has spoken in this regard a number of offers on creating favorable conditions for the transeurasian transportations.

At the Astana Economic Forum, the President of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Askar Mamin has held a number of bilateral meetings.
