OREANDA-NEWS   AvtoVAZ conducts regular inspections of its official dealerships for unjustified price increases for Lada cars, including secretly, an official representative of the company told RIA Novosti.

"Constant checks, including secret ones, are continuing," he said.

In May, the automaker introduced marginal prices for the sale of Lada in the Russian dealer network. As noted by the president of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov, overpricing will be tightly controlled, up to the termination of the contract.
The company also noted: if you are faced with the refusal of an official Lada dealership to sell a car at the recommended retail price, you need to report this fact by calling the hotline or send a message personally to Dmitry Kostromin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AvtoVAZ, using the link from the QR code posted in each car.

AvtoVAZ owns production sites in Togliatti, Izhevsk and St. Petersburg. In mid-May last year, French Renault transferred its stake in AvtoVAZ (67.69%) to the state ownership of the Russian Federation. Now the brand consists of four model families: Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva. Sales of the brand's cars in 2022 amounted to 188.6 thousand cars (-46% by 2021).
