OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian automobile plant of the Chinese Great Wall is recalling 32,156 Haval cars due to possible problems with electrical wiring, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) reported.

The measure will affect the Haval F7 and Haval F7x cars sold from December 1, 2022 to December 27, 2023. The reason for the recall in Rosstandart was explained by the possibility of moisture entering the connector of the wiring harness under the driver's seat, followed by a short circuit of the electrical wiring. This, in turn, can lead to melting of the connector.

Owners of tens of thousands of relevant cars will be informed by letter or by phone about the need for free modification. Car owners can independently find out if they need it on the Rosstandart website or using the service Auto.ru .

Earlier it became known that Russian car dealers had difficulties servicing Chinese cars imported through parallel imports. The error in which Geely, Exeed and Li Auto do not see official diagnostic equipment in the database arises from the fact that in machines manufactured for Europe or China, it differs from the one installed on Russian machines.
