OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian airline IrAero has opened ticket sales for direct flights to another popular Asian beach country — the Philippines. This is reported on the official website of the carrier.

It is clarified that tickets for flights Irkutsk — Manila and Manila — Irkutsk from March 6 to May 30 are on sale. Planes to the Philippines will fly on Wednesdays and back on Thursdays.

The flights will be operated on a Sukhoi Superjet 100 with a technical landing in China for refueling. The cost of a one—way ticket starts from 36.7 thousand rubles.

According to Sergey Krupnov, Deputy General Director of IrAero, the company will make a decision to open air ticket sales from June to September later. This is due to the risks of poor aircraft loading in low season, he explained.

Earlier it was reported that the airline "IrAero" will also operate direct flights to Vietnam. It is planned that planes from Irkutsk to Nha Trang will fly from February 25.
