OREANDA-NEWS Eleven people were killed on Monday night as a result of an accident that occurred in Armenia on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country reported.

"At the 90th kilometer of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, a Volkswagen passenger minibus and a ZIL truck collided... As a result of the accident, 11 people were killed," the message published in the Telegram channel of the rescue service says.

According to the ministry, six more people were hospitalized in a hospital in Gyumri. Later, one of the injured was taken to the Erebuni medical center in Yerevan.
