OREANDA-NEWS  The first ship in St. Petersburg on liquefied natural gas "Chaika" went on its debut voyage under drawbridges on the Neva. This was reported to journalists on Tuesday in the press service of the Astra Marine group of companies, noting that in the near future the Chaika route will also connect St. Petersburg and Peterhof.

"The debut departure of the ship was a two-hour night flight under drawbridges in the Astra Party Night format, when a DJ set is played for guests on the upper deck throughout the journey. In this format, the "Seagull" is presented daily with departure at 0:30 at night. Two days later, on July 20, the first flight on a regular line between St. Petersburg and Peterhof is scheduled," the message says.

According to the press service, the ship will depart on the Petersburg - Peterhof route 5 days a week - from Monday to Friday during the daytime. Also, starting next week, two-hour themed cruises will start on board, which will differ from each other in format and orientation - they will include cooking and acting workshops, short performances, art parties and other entertainment events.

All departures in St. Petersburg "Chaika" makes from the pier "Rumyantsevsky descent" on the University embankment. The ship can accommodate up to 170 people, and the power reserve of the vessel at one refueling reaches 400 km. The salon is equipped with modern air conditioning and heating systems, as well as the largest open deck among the entire civil fleet on the Neva - its area is 350 sq. m.
