OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched automobile traffic along the M-12 Vostok highway to Kazan. "God be with you," Putin said.

The M-12 high-speed highway passes through the territory of five regions of the country: Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Chuvash Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan. Its length is 810 kilometers.

The new highway is included in the global state project "Europe - Western China". The road will be partially laid through Vladimir, Murom, Arzamas, Sergach, Kanash, Shali. The route will allow you to get from Moscow to Kazan in 6.5 hours. The allowed speed will be 110 kilometers per hour.
