OREANDA-NEWS Rossiya Airlines plans to launch flights from Moscow to Blagoveshchensk on January 31.

Flights will be operated from Sheremetyevo Airport three times a week, the carrier said. Wide-body Boeing 777s designed for 373 passengers will be used on the line.

"The new direction of Russia is proposed as part of the expansion of the route network for business travelers from Moscow. Joint projects are being actively implemented with the Amur Region, business with partners from China is developing dynamically," the company noted.

In the winter schedule, Rossiya also flies to Blagoveshchensk from Krasnoyarsk – with a frequency of up to 40 flights per month. Together with the Far Eastern airline Aurora, flights from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Vladivostok have been opened.

Rossiya is a member of the Aeroflot Group and is the largest operator of domestically produced aircraft: its fleet includes 137 aircraft, of which 78 are Superjet 100. The company's base airports are Pulkovo (St. Petersburg), Sheremetyevo (Moscow), Krasnoyarsk and Sochi.
