OREANDA-NEWS Tesla is recalling the largest batch of 2.2 million vehicles due to the incorrect font size on the dashboard, which increases the risk of an accident, Reuters reports, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States.

"Warning lights with a smaller font size can make it difficult to read important safety information," NHTSA said. It is noted that the manufacturer has started updating the software wirelessly, increasing the font of the visual indicators of the braking system, parking brake and anti-lock system.

The work will be carried out on Tesla cars, including ModelS, Model X, Model 3 2017-2023, ModelY and Cybertrack 2024.

In December 2023, Tesla recalled another large batch of vehicles. Then, on two million cars produced since 2016, it was decided to update the autopilot safety system, since "people trust technology too much," the NHTSA noted.
