The Kremlin Has not Decided to Resume Air Connectivity with Egypt
The Kremlin has refrained from publishing the date of the resumption of flights to Egyptian resorts from Russia. It was said on June 1 by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov said that specialists from Russia made inspection trips to places of rest in Egypt. After familiarization with the situation, there will be written reports to the government headquarters. Based on the data received, the headquarters for the fight against coronavirus will decide about possible resumption of flights with Egypt.
Earlier, Egyptian Ambassador to Moscow Ihab Nasr said that Egyptian resorts are waiting for Russian tourists.
Recall that during the pandemic, air traffic with Cairo was suspended.
