OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has approved the procedure for restricting driver's licenses to evaders - the order of the department is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In April, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that provides for the creation of a unified register of military service, as well as introduces electronic summonses and a number of restrictions for draft dodgers. In particular, according to the document, a person liable for military service who has not appeared at the military enlistment office within 20 days from the date of receipt of the summons will not be able to drive a vehicle and register it.

The relevant information will be sent to the information system of the State Traffic Inspectorate during the day. The same time is allocated for the cancellation of the decision in the event of a change in the status of a person liable for military service in the register.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs comes into force on July 11. At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Finance Maksut Shadaev reported that it would be possible to launch the register of military service in the Russian Federation in full, most likely, not before the start of the next autumn conscription.
