OREANDA-NEWS Engine failure is a priority version of the crash in Afghanistan of a Falcon 10 aircraft with Russians on board. About this reported the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

Investigators are currently conducting searches and seizing relevant documents. The ministry confirmed the rescue of two pilots and two medical workers, they are being assisted. Measures are being taken to transport them to Moscow.

As a result of the plane crash, two passengers born in 1958 and 1959 did not survive.

On January 23, it was reported that the pilot of the aircraft, Arkady Grachev, faces criminal liability for an accident. The Athletic Group company, which has the crashed aircraft on its balance sheet, did not have a license for passenger transportation and never carried them out. To legalize flights, the aviators used Jet Aero LLC, which is owned by Grachev himself and co-pilot Dmitry Belyakov.

The accident occurred on January 20 during a flight from Thailand to Moscow.
