Two ships collided in the Rostov region

OREANDA-NEWS Two motor ships collided on the Don River in the Rostov region. This was reported by the Western Interregional investigation Department for Transport of the IC of Russia.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 4. It is clarified that the Konosha vessel, under the control of the second mate and under the guidance of the captain, collided with the ship Sormovsky-3067, which ran aground. As a result, Sormovsky-3067 was damaged, the damage amounted to more than 1 million 700 thousand rubles.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In the autumn of 2023, two ships collided on the river in the Rostov region due to thick fog. Volgodonsk-225, which was carrying grain from the Ulyanovsk Region to the Krasnodar Territory, and Astrol-6, which was heading with equipment to Kazakhstan, were involved in an accident on the water. The vessels crossed at the Sukhodonetsky crossing and could not disperse.
