OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip has visited the Saharna Monastery within a working visit to the northern Rezina district. At meetings with local citizens, Pavel Filip highlighted the need to develop cultural and historical units of Moldova, modernize their infrastructure and create conditions for attracting tourists, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.  

In the context, the Prime Minister said that the turning to account of the rural tourist heritage would have a positive impact on the national economy and will usefully contribute to promote Moldova’s image on the international stage. At the same time, Pavel Filip stressed the need to repair and promote objects of interests for tourists and referred to developing the adjacent infrastructure and creating necessary conditions for the number of local and foreign visitors to increase.  

The Prime Minister today visited the Rezina-based Business Incubator, within which 14 resident companies are working, which create and back jobs for local residents. At the same time, Pavel Filip discussed with the incubator’s administration and the district’s leadership the need to extend the infrastructure for the business environment. He stressed that it was important to create as many as possible jobs for citizens, thus giving them possibility to have a decent salary at home.   

On his visit to Rezina district, the prime minister also visited the construction site of the Rezina district sports complex with an initial capacity of 2,500 places, as well as the building of the town’s bypass road. On this occasion, the Prime Minister showed interest in problems concerning the carrying out of the aforementioned projects, noting that the government would provide needed support to settle them.
