OREANDA-NEWS. Russian consumer supervision recommends that Russian tourists refrain from visiting China because of the new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV discovered there. This was reported on the website of the department on Friday.
On January 21, Russian consumer supervision issued a recommendation for Russians to refrain from traveling to Wuhan, where an initial outbreak of the disease caused by the virus was recorded. "The department recommends that Russian tourists refrain from visiting the PRC until the epidemic situation stabilizes", the report said.
The ministry added that it monitors flights arriving from China, as of Thursday there were no cases of suspected coronavirus in Russia, and the situation itself is being controlled.
