OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has organized online courses for business representatives on the practical implementation of anti-Russian sanctions. This became known from the press release of the department, published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

The head of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, Elina Valtonen, noted that the purpose of the course is to increase the effectiveness of restrictions against Russia. The sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia are unprecedentedly extensive, which creates problems for their practical implementation of sanctions. From the point of view of the effectiveness of restrictions, it is extremely important that sanctions can be applied correctly both in companies and in authorities," she said.

As stated in the message, anyone can take the two-hour course, and upon graduation, the participant receives a certificate.

Earlier, the Finnish authorities terminated the agreement on cross-border cooperation with Russia. It is known that this decision was a response to similar actions by the Russian government.
