OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2011. OJSC KAMAZ participated in an exhibition held in Kazan and dedicated to the Machine Builder’s Day.

The large-scale exposition presented by KAMAZ included a wide range of vehicles: diesel trucks, truck tractors, high-sided vehicles with crane manipulators. The visitors of the exhibition expressed their great interest in natural gas vehicles made by OOO RariTEK – a distributor of OJSC KAMAZ producing vehicles with gas engines. The guests paid attention to the CNG NEFAZ 5299-30-31 city bus based on the KAMAZ chassis which is currently being operated in a test mode on the 63rd Kazan route.

"Today we saw the developments of our young scientists at the exhibition. This indicates that a technical science is developing in Tatarstan,” said Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, who visited the exhibition. “The machine-building complex of our republic is one of the leading ones in the Russian Federation. It includes 150 enterprises, nearly 140 thousand people."

He was supported by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov who noted that the innovation economy of the republic is developing due to enterprises of the machine-building industry.
