OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2010. JSC "KazTransOil" increased the volume of transportation for 7%.

According to factual data, the volume of transportation of oil through the system of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" in January-Mayl 2010 was equal to 21 mln. 693 thousand tons. In comparison with the same period of 2009, the volume of transportation grew for 1 mln. 381 thousand tons, or for 7% (the fact for 5 months of 2009 was 20 mln. 312 thousand tons).

The cargo turnover through the system of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" in the first 5 months of 2010 was equal to 19 bln. 685 mln. tons km. In comparison with the same period of the last year the given indicator increased for 180 mln.tons or for 1%.

According to results of the current year, the volume of oil throughput via section of "Atasu-Alashankou" reached the level of 4 mln. 099 thousand tons of oil, which exceeds the 2009 indicator for 1 mln. 429 thousand tons, or for 54% (the fact for 5 months of 2009 was 2 mln. 070 thousand tons).

According to results of the reporting period of 2010, the transit of the Russian oil through the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 2 mln. 281 thousand tons. The increase, in comparison with January-May of 2009, is equal to 274 thousand tons, or 14% (the fact for 5 months of 2009 was equal to 2 mln. 007 thousand tons of oil).

In comparison with the last year, the volume of oil transportation through the system of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan has increased. According to the results of the 5 months of 2010 the volume of transportation of oil to refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan was equal to 5 mln. 409 thousand tons, which is higher than in the same period of 2009 for 1 mln. 237 thousand tons of oil, or for 30% (the fact for the 5 months of 2009 was equal to 4 mln.172 thousand tons of oil).

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January-May of the current year, the volume of water supply was equal to 7 mln. 694 thousand cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2009, the volume increased for 726 thousand cubic meters or for 10%.
