OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2011. The President viewed the sports facilities under construction for the 2014 Olympics from a helicopter. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, who is in charge of supervising preparations for the 2014 Olympic Games, reported on progress in construction to the President.

The President visited the construction site of the K-125 and K-95 ski jump complex, intended to seat 9,600 people.

The complex is one of six Olympic sports facilities located in the Esto-Sadok village mountain cluster in Krasnaya Polyana.

The facility will be launched in two phases: at the end of 2011, and in December 2012.

Afterwards, Dmitry Medvedev also visited the cross-country skiing and biathlon competition complex, currently under construction, as well as the Mountain Olympic Village, and viewed one of the cottages for participants in the Olympic Games.
