SOGAZ to Provide Coverage in Respect to Zaryadye Park Construction
OREANDA-NEWS. SOGAZ Insurance Group will provide coverage in respect to the Zaryadye Park construction in Moscow. The complex that faces the Kremlin will include a Philharmonic Hall, an ice cave and other unique facilities. The total sum insured is 12 billion RUB.
The construction and assembly projects, equipment, construction and building machinery and materials will be insured against any risks of sudden external impacts for 11.7 billion RUB. The developer's TLP will be covered for 300 million RUB. The Insured under the contract is Mosingproject JSC. The CAR insurance contract will be effective till the end of 2016.
The coverage will include the Philharmonic Hall with a glass roof above it to create a specific microclimate below the roof that will make walking possible; the Ice Cave thematic center that will guide you through the culture of the peoples of the North of Russia and polar expeditions; the park complex with several landscape areas typical of Russia; Zapovednoye Posolstvo scientific and educational center, the media center, underground parking, a cafe and a restaurant.
SOGAZ was awarded the CAR insurance contract as it was recognized as the preferred bidder among 4 invited bidders.
Zaryadye Park is being constructed where Rossiya Hotel was located earlier, next to the Saint Basil's Cathedral and Gostiny Dvor. The park is built according to the concept developed by the international consortium headed by DillerScofidio+Renfro design studio. The opening is planned by the City Day in 2017.
