OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip today signed an instruction on the creation of a group of negotiators due to participate in the negotiation of the Memorandum on economic and financial policies between Moldova’s cabinet and the International Monetary Fund.

Under the instruction, the group of negotiators will be led by Deputy Prime Minister, Economics Minister Octavian Calmic. The group will also be made of Finance Minister Octavian Armasu, Labour, Social Protection and Family Minister Stela Grigoras and National Bank of Moldova Governor Sergiu Cioclea.  

According to the same instruction, a working group was set up for considering and developing a strategic programme on financial support by IMF, led by Deputy Economics Minister Vitalie Iurcu. The group will include 20 persons, among whom the government’s secretary general, the principal state adviser of the prime minister on development policies, public administration and international cooperation, deputy ministers, as well as more officials of competent institutions.
