"Perhaps we will have inflation in 2019 in annual terms of less than 3%", he said. Earlier, the Central Bank has already lowered its inflation forecast for 2019 to 4-4.5% from 4.2-4.7%. The regulator also did not rule out another lowering of the forecast for the price index for the current year at a meeting of the board of directors at a key rate on October 25. According to Rosstat, inflation in Russia has remained at zero level for the fourth week in a row.

A year ago, inflation in September was 0.2%. According to the results of September 2019, annual inflation, according to the Federal State Statistics Service, slowed down to 4% from 4.3% in August, 4.6% in July, 4.7% in June, 5.1% in May, 5.2 % in April and 5.3% in March. In February, annual inflation was 5.2%, in January - 5%, and at the end of December - 4.3%
