OREANDA-NEWS Based on a study conducted by Businessstat, Russians have to give almost half of their salary in order to pay for their housing. But in some regions and regions, this figure is much higher. Take, for example, Crimea. The average figure here hovers around 75%, which is a record for the whole country. Krasnodar Krai (72%) and Kaliningrad Oblast (74%) boasted an equally high percentage. In contrast to this, the regions with the cheapest housing and high wages are the northern regions, for example, in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the rent of housing is only 24% of the income of the population. For comparison, in Moscow, the ratio of the cost of renting housing and wages is 63% and 55%. It is also known that the largest rental rate of an apartment there is about 50 thousand rubles per month.

On June 5, Olga Pavlinova, director of the residential and commercial real estate rental Department of the federal company "Floors", told Izvestia that in May of this year, compared with April, the demand for rental housing in Russia increased by 10-12% on average.
