OREANDA-NEWS The restoration of the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region after the terrorist attack can cost 4-7 billion rubles, excluding equipment, Pavel Lyulin, vice president of the Union of Shopping Centers, told RIA Real Estate.

"Not only the premises were destroyed in the fire, but also expensive concert equipment. Based on the decision of the Agalarov family (they own Crocus Group - ed.) to restore the facility, we can say that the cost of restoring the concert hall, without equipment, can cost 4-7 billion rubles," he said.
He noted that these are conditional calculations, since the results of the examination are unknown, the degree of damage to metal structures as a result of the fire, as well as whether they can be used in the future or it is cheaper to demolish the facility and build a new building.

The terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, occurred on March 22: the attackers opened fire on people in the building, set fire to the auditorium. The attack was one of the largest terrorist attacks in the history of modern Russia. According to the UK, 139 people were killed in the terrorist attack.
