OREANDA-NEWS. The Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov believes that now there is no need to make hasty conclusions regarding 298 Russian athletes suspected by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).  Kolobkov's statement leads the press service of the department.

A total of 578 doping samples of these athletes analyzed so far 150 samples.  They belong to 43 athletes.  The organization has already opened cases in their relations and transferred them to international sports federations, which must analyze evidence packages and decide how to punish athletes.

It is assumed that by the end of the year all priority cases will be investigated by WADA.

WADA reserves the right to transfer cases to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne and will monitor decisions of international federations to adjust its strategy.

WADA noted the assistance of RUSADA in the investigation of anti-doping violations.
