OREANDA-NEWS  Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov will miss the Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon. The athlete wrote about this in social networks, explaining the situation with an injury.

"Due to an injury sustained at Roland Garros (stress fracture of the sacral bone) I won't be able to play at Wimbledon for the second year in a row," 27-year-old Khachanov wrote on social networks.

According to him, he is now aiming to recover by the August tournament.

Now Khachanov is the 11th racket of the world. His best achievement at Grand Slam tournaments is reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open (2023) and the US Open (2022).
