OREANDA-NEWS. Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, who is currently No. 1 in the world rating, passed a positive test for coronavirus. This was reported by Reuters agency referring to a sportsman’s statement.

The athlete’s family also passed tests for a new virus; the analysis gave a positive result for his wife, their children are healthy.

Earlier it became known that the final of the tournament Adria Tour in Zadar (Croatia), in which Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev and Djokovic were to play on June 21, was canceled after a positive coronavirus test of Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria. During the tournament, the latter held a match against the Croatian Borna Coric, who on June 22 confirmed that he was infected with SARS-Cov-2. Before that, on June 20, Coric played with Djokovic.
