OREANDA-NEWS. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has revealed changes in the data of 145 out of 298 Russian athletes.

This was announced on January 29 by the Director of Intelligence and Investigation for the WADA, Gunter Jounger. “The data of 145 athletes has been changed or deleted. Some of the changes were made in retrospect,” he said. “For this, the entire database was rearranged to a date four years earlier, after which these or those records were deleted,” the head of the WADA department explained.

According to the official, WADA specialists are capable to determine which file was deleted and when it was made, but it is not possible to restore this data in all cases. The organization intends to verify the data of all 298 athletes.
