9.98 million people wished to vote in the elections at their place of residence or online

OREANDA-NEWS Voters have submitted about 9.982 million applications for participation in remote electronic voting (DEG) and location voting in the presidential elections, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova said.
"5,195,348 applications were submitted to Mobile Voter and 4,786,582 to DEG. Thus, 9,981,930 voters will be able to vote not at their polling station, but in one way or another," she said.
The acceptance of these applications began at midnight on January 29 and ended on March 11.
It was necessary to apply for DEG in 28 regions where it was decided to organize it, but not in Moscow.
