A state standard for toys has been created in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Russia has created a state standardfor toys, which for the first time will define all types of these products.
The document notes that a toy is a product or material that is intended for children under the age of 14. In addition, there are 48 types of such products with definitions.
Antonina Tsitsulina, President of the Association of Enterprises of the Children's Goods Industry (AIDT), noted that this will allow identifying products and excluding those who are looking for workarounds.
Earlier it became known that Roskachestvo plans to submit GOST for school uniforms in the second half of 2024. The goods of manufacturers who want to label their products will have to meet the new requirements. The organization explained that in this way they intend to improve the quality of clothing for students.
