OREANDA-NEWS Apple has prepared for the start of sales of augmented reality glasses outside the United States. This is reported by the publication MacRumors.

Currently, the Vision Pro headset is available only in the United States, but Apple is preparing to release the device for worldwide sale. The fact that the device will be available globally in the summer was previously stated by an authoritative insider, Min-Chi Ko. The authors of MacRumors found support for other languages in the Vision Pro OS code.

So, English for the UK, Australia, Canada and other countries, Chinese, Japanese, French, German and Korean languages appeared in the firmware.

Based on these data, journalists have suggested that Vision Pro will be available for sale in the coming months in the UK, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore. Separately, Apple will release AR glasses for users from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

At the end of February, Omdia analysts found out that the cost of components of Apple Vision Pro AR glasses is about half of the retail price of the device. At a price of $3,499, the cost of headset components was $1,542.
