OREANDA-NEWS. A farmer was sentenced to 10 years in prison for kidnapping and using slave labor of a teenager in the Crimea, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the republic reported on Tuesday, June 1.

«The court, taking into account the position of the prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 10 years of imprisonment with restriction of liberty for a period of 1 year and 8 months. The convict will serve his sentence in a high-security penal colony», the report says.

The court found that the man at the end of May last year, being in a state of intoxication, kidnapped a 15-year-old teenager, who was taken to the territory of an agricultural enterprise, where he was forced to perform hard work.
