OREANDA-NEWS Dozens of Russian tourists on snowmobiles got caught in a snowstorm in a mountainous taiga area in Khakassia and were unable to get out on their own. This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash Siberia.

According to the source, on Wednesday, December 6, 26 people vacationing in the vicinity of the village of Priiskovoye failed to leave the taiga due to the worsening weather. As a result, the Russians had to spend the night there.

In the morning, the travelers got in touch and asked for help. Three people returned on their own on snowmobiles, 21 were taken out by rescuers.

It is noted that one tourist had a heart attack, the other was found with signs of hypothermia. It was not possible to save both of them.

Earlier in November, it was reported that a tourist from China got lost on Mount Elbrus at an altitude of about 4,000 meters. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic received information that a foreign tourist born in 2002 was lost in the area of the Shelter-11 base. A resident of China contacted the rescuers himself and asked for help.
